Who provides this website

These terms are between you and TradeAMW. Questions about these terms can be sent through the site form.

Informational purposes only

This website is provided for general information about the AMW strategy. The content, including all performance figures, projections, and descriptions, is informational and is not a substitute for the client agreement, broker terms, or professional advice that would govern any actual engagement.

No offer or solicitation

Nothing on this website is an offer or solicitation to buy or sell any security, futures contract, CFD, or other financial instrument, or an offer of advisory services, in any jurisdiction where such an offer would be unlawful. Access to the strategy is subject to a review of your jurisdiction and account requirements and to a separate client agreement.

No advice

Nothing on this website constitutes investment, legal, tax, or accounting advice, or a recommendation that any strategy or risk tier is suitable for you. You are responsible for evaluating whether trading leveraged instruments is appropriate for your circumstances, and you should consult your own professional advisers before committing funds.

Billing

Both fees are charged at the end of each calendar month and deducted from the account. There is no invoice to settle and no payment for the client to initiate.

A month-end statement sets out the management fee and, where the account finished above its high-water mark, the performance fee.

AMW has no ability to debit, withhold or transfer client funds. Fee accounting is performed by the broker under the terms the client accepts when connecting the strategy.

Withdrawals

Funds are held in your own brokerage account, so deposits and withdrawals are arranged directly with the broker and do not require AMW's consent.

The management fee is applied pro rata for the period the withdrawn funds were under management during that month. The performance fee is calculated against the high-water mark, and deposits and withdrawals are excluded from that calculation, so the timing of a withdrawal neither increases nor reduces what is owed.

A partial withdrawal does not end the agreement. There is no penalty for withdrawing and no amount is withheld from your account by AMW. An account that falls below the $100,000 minimum may no longer produce trade sizes consistent with the published results.

Term

The agreement runs for an initial term of twelve months from the date trading begins. The term is a commitment to give the strategy enough time to be judged fairly; a client who withdraws after a single poor quarter absorbs the decline without the recovery that has historically followed it.

You may end the agreement early. On written notice the strategy is disconnected from the account within two business days and no further trades are placed. Fees earned up to that date remain payable. No further fees are charged afterwards and there is no early-termination penalty.

Ending the agreement is separate from your money. Funds are held in your own brokerage account throughout and are never held by AMW, so access to them is not affected by the term, by notice, or by anything in this agreement.

Fees

AMW charges two fees to the client. First, a management fee equal to 2% of account value per month, charged at each month end. Second, a performance fee equal to 30% of profit above the account's high-water mark, calculated after applicable broker costs. In a flat or losing month, or in any month that ends below the high-water mark, no performance fee is charged and the management fee is the only amount due. Both rates are fixed and set before anything goes live.

There is no software license fee, no setup fee, no subscription and no platform fee. Account configuration, broker connection and ongoing operation are covered by the management fee.

The high-water mark. The high-water mark is the highest account value recorded at a month end after fees. The performance fee applies only to profit above that figure, so an account that falls and later recovers is not charged twice on the same gains. The mark resets upward only.

What counts as profit. Profit means the net profit, after broker costs, from trades closed during the calendar month. Positions still open at month-end are excluded from that month's calculation; their result counts in the month they close. Deposits and withdrawals are excluded, so money you add or remove is never counted as trading profit or loss.

Losses carry forward; gains do not reset the mark downward. A month that finishes above the high-water mark incurs the performance fee on the amount above it, and the mark moves up. A month that finishes below it incurs no performance fee, and no fee is charged again until the account exceeds the previous high.

A three-month example on a $100,000 account

MonthNet trading resultPerformance fee (30%)
Month 1+$6,000 profit$1,800
Month 2-$7,500 lossNo performance fee. Management fee only
Month 3+$4,200 profitNo performance fee until the account passes its previous high

This example illustrates the fee mechanics only. It is not a projection or an indication of expected results.

Fees are deducted at month end, as set out in the client agreement. Taxes on trading results are the client's responsibility. You may end the agreement early on written notice. On request the strategy is disconnected from the account within two business days, after which no further trades are placed.
